feeling a little down at the moment.

everyone has everything planned and set out, they know what they're doing. And here I am with a very vague plan that wasn't really the plan at all. I'm being left behind. i have friends going all over the place, deby, keele, birmingam. but i'm not begrudging them their success and promising future, Good luck.

i suppose i like surprises which is my future, but whose ever goes to plan anyway?

So i have my first exam tomorrow. statistics, yes even the name is boring. but i have to do it as its part of my maths course. wish me luck.

douchebaggish

so today i was shown that there are a lot of people out there that really don't understand dencency or consideration.

70% (30% are not) of the guys i know are douchebags. yes i did just use that word. pretty much all of them have slept with someone when drunk and can't remember what happened. almost all have cheated on their girlfriends and lie to them daily.

And the girls! put on as little as possible to show all their bits uptown and wonder why the guys treat them like trash.

but you know the ones that really get me are the people who act like they have some kind of decency and then treat people like they couldn't care less about their feelings so subtley you can't really point out where it happened. they're ones you have to watch out for because they're so easy to get on with that it's impossible to stay angry with them and so easy to forgive. until of course you go home and remember all that was said and done and then you wonder how they do it. (they probably should go into the law profession)

of course no one is perfect, but you know... there's a fine line

All this came about when i started thinking that it's going to be damn hard to find someone who thinks like i do. i seem to be attracted to those nice but douchebaggish guys. learnt some lessons, maybe a bit more prepared i suppose. i try my best not to be hypocritical; of course i make mistakes too.

well that was an insight into my mind, maybe a tad bit cynical today but oh well not always sunshine and buttercups.

a rant at customers!

yes i am about to have a little rant.

STUPID customers at work today are just plain nasty... :( i'm sorry i forgot to put fries in your bag but at least now you get some free sauce, bonus! so stop shouting at me please. would you rather i be sorry for 'accidently' tipping coke over your head. or slamming the window in your face and refusing to serve you?! well then, be nice.

AND... i'm not the one cooking the food so the fact that it says 'plain' on the box makes me assume others have done their job and left off the extra stuff, no good lecturing me about job effectiveness or whatever you were trying to get at -_-

ok rant over

got some cool news anyway. i'm going to be doing a sponsered walk up snowdon in wales. it's for a charity that helps families with accomodation to be near their children who are in specialist care in Birmingham's children's hospital. i'll find out the actual name. 22 july is when it is. just need some sponsers. hello friends and family.

sunshine in england

yes, it's a miracle, a oxymoron in itself >> sunshine in england

today was apparently the hottest we've since i don't know when but then again they say that quite often. maybe to compensate for the constant cold.

so today i donned a dress and sat outside in the warm sun to soak up some rays. TIP: don't be niave and think that you can do this and study. yes i may be able to multitaks but i ended up with a huge headache not the best end to the day.

and here is my bella, she brings entertainment to my life xx

today made me realise that i miss the hot climate that was South Africa. can't wait until december.

thought i'd put some pics up of what attracted me to thailand

they have such a rich culture and such different views of the world that it would be interesting to get to know the people there.

i want to ride elephants, eat thai food, learn their ways in a sacred temple. maybe one day i'll go. well there you go.

No ones laughing at God...

i stubbled across this song yesterday and the lyrics are quite profound.
it's so easy to not believe in anything and mock those who do rather than find out why people all over the world believes there's something. i have more respect for someone who openly rejects the idea because they've looked at all possible scenarios than someone who laughs it off because everyone else is.

I like the chorus because she says God can be funny, He's everywhere. LOL just had an image of closing a door and there God's sitting behind it haha. He's the jokes, the delicious chocolate on your face, the crazy dancing when you can't contain joy.

you probabley have guessed then that i do believe in God and i call myself a christian, but believe me i have definitely not got it figured out!

Michelle, my friend is in malawi at the moment on a mission, so brave. she's in my prayers. if you can keep her in yours.
