Nando's originated in south africa. it has portugeuse style chicken and one has opened at bentley bridge just down the road from us and my mom and i went to have memorable night there. it's amazing how many memories a few flavours and decorations can surface.

The German market

my mom and i went to birmingham on saturday to see the german market. it was beautiful and full of colour and lights. it was also freezing. we ate frankfurters and cheesesticks and roasted hazelnuts. a lovely part of england i'd say.

Ever been to Wing Wah?
it's a chinese (i think because i'm terrible at distinguishing between asian food) buffet style restaurant. mom and i met up with my cousin, my aunt and her new husband and his brother and family. a little family get together. i've never eaten such amazing food.
the seafood was my absolute favourite. i wish i had taken pictures. but the best part was the company. there's nothing like the comfortableness that you feel with family. while travis and i freaked people out with our coke floats (coke and ice-cream) otherwise known as a 'brown cow', the 'adults' laughed, boasted and moaned about their offspring. :D
