remembering

i was wasting time on facebook, as you do, and i got an invite to join HHPS class of 2005. i was so excited, this is my primary school that i went to, so i joined and almost immediately i was chatting to old school friends. it's amazing how much people can help you remember.
we shared stories about classroom days and it was wonderful to chat to everyone again.
this just confirmed that going home is the right choice... back to where i belong

mature immaturity

cherise and i have only known each other for about two years but it feels like more sometimes. We only ever see each other every couple of weeks but when we do we have a huge catch up.
yesterday was one of those days. we drove to town in her little red car with some music i'd burned. singing as we talked.
i haven't had that much simple immature fun in a long time. we laughed. we shopped. we talked. we blasted our music to the streets, even got some old fogies waving at us.
she's doing what she wants to do. in uni and has a boyfriend she adores.
now to get my life together...

today i sat in the park in the sunshine with the boys i have come to call my friends and bella. sitting there laughing with each other, i realised that life isn't about how much you do or see but whether or not you've had fun doing it and how you've affected others life. i mean i like to think that peoples lives would be different if they hadn't met me. i know i feel that way about the people in my life.
tomorrow i will walk to school and i will try and figure out a plan for the near future at least.

London ACT TWO

so back to London i went. 3 hours and 55 minutes on the coach to get there with a layover at birmingham coach station, where we played cards. i have bad luck with cards, i don't think i'll ever step foot in a casino lol

Trafalga square. it took a lot of effort to get up there.

at the SA consulet we waited for an hour and a half just to be told that i forgot to sign one form. typical. but that's done and now i wait and prepare for my travel which WILL happen, i'll make sure of it.

damn passport

i have to go to london... again
there's a signature missing on one of the forms for my passport renewal -_- was not impressed with this information, surely they should have checked the first time!!!
so i've rallied some friends to come with me so we'll make it a good day.

results day tomorrow. i can actually feel the wave of panic rise up in me when i think about it. i'm terrified i've messed them up. not that i'll need them soon as i'm still unwanted by the universities in England. ok thats a lie they want me just not as their own, they want to bankrupt me while educating me. go home or pay up basically. a bit cynical but yeah

18th birthday

Happy Birthday to me! and do you know how i'm celebrating it by going to work... yay
but not to worry i have plans for the rest of the week TOWN. Everyone around me has been turning 18 and i've had to listen to the fun times they've all had uptown in the clubs and bars and pubs etc. now i'm not a big fan of alcohol but i love having a laugh with my friends. so i'll endure the day by reminding myself, we're entitled a birthday week really :D

snowden fail!

yes right now i am meant to be climbing snowden but some people can't honour commitments and so it was called off. so disappointed but we have vowed to do it this summer.

so picked up an extra shift tonight, i need the money i suppose.

yesterday, it was great to see all the faces of chem and bio nerds, really good meal at cosmo (new favourite restaurant).

watched inception. not sure if i fully grasped the whole film but i thought it was really good, i'll have to watch it again :)

i played pool expecting to fail miserbley as usual and surprised everyone, including myself, by potting three balls in a row. but i lost the game because i potted the black and white at the same time which was quite disappointing. should let me win that. it would have been the gallant thing to do :P

but... i lost my favourite jacket. my lovely blue leather one. well it's fake leather but that's not important. i loved that jacket.

TOY STORY 3
i may be nearly 18 but i absolutely love animation and the fact that i watched the first one when i was little, the same age as andy was in the film, and now watched the third one when andy is my age now was quite moving.
a good laugh with the friendlings
but i think i need to learn moeny management, my method doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

Tuesday was my friends 18th well technically it was monday but we celebrated tuesday. and because we're cool we went to Drayton Manor. good weather, awesome company and rides that make your stomach churn = funnn

a little adventure

don't you just love those days when you start off a day terribly and then something unexpected comes up and it turns out to be a great day.
chemistry exam on yesterday but we went for lunch at the pub afterwards and in walks two of my hobo friends ;) so we jump in cars and head off to tettanhall pools. i love little adventures like that. it was a good end to a stressful start to a day. love you all
going to miss seeing everyone at school. going to have to actually organise things. gosh!

BBQ & England game

The England vs. Algeria game was sooo disappointing that we chose to inore the result and have a BBQ! wooooo! sitting around sipping cider, eating hamburgers, listening to paramore, Thrice, Minus the Bear and some insipid dunstep that was a bit annoying makes for a really good night.

and to my broken-hearted friend, remember that friends are always there to cheer you up so there's always a reason to smile xx

so today was my last ever maths lesson. i have my exam tomorrow. ah i'm going to miss these guys. some of the conversations in this class will never be forgotten, you'd be surprised at the variety of topics lol

Suki: wit beyong measure, always made me smile and kept the whole class laughing.

Wayne: never a day without sweets to pass around. much appreciated. very fast worker

Mark: crazy hobo with the mob of curly hair

Claire: one of my bestest friends ever. she is the bearer of all miscellaneous knowledge

Emily: the 'bare love' for suki and has an A in a moaning A-level just kidding x

Ashleigh: sorting her M&Ms into colour groups. her frankness is no longer a shock

Chloe: love the smile and absolute genuineness (is that a word, well it is now)

Ruks: sweet innocence and always understanding. never known someone who works as hard as her

Scott: the quietest person i know, you're the backbone of the class mate

Alex: the one to beat, always kept me motivated and the one to ask for help but don't let him speak for too long or you'll get confused

Adam: secret ninja and alex's sidekick. doesn't stop talking to him in low undertones, who knows what can be that important

Ricky: when you turned up to class at least you kept us intertained with your comments

and all the other year 12s: you came the second year so we've not been together for as long. you're lovely and good luck for next year.

and me? i reckon they describe me as the weird foreign girl who we've all gotten used to ;)

fare

On Saturday, my mom, my friend and her family want to a fare in town. we were walking towards the park, we saw the steam engines parading through town. That's when i realised it was a steam festival. lol yeah a bit slow on the uptake.
The date on the camera is out of date though, i'll have to figure out how to change that...

And then they get little awin the park. Nice day out with some fun people, and the sun was shining too :)
